Mars and Saturn transit Conjunct: understand this tough aspect simply!

Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with the transit of Mars conjunct Saturn:

So, I’ve been tracking this transit of Mars conjunct Saturn for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been… a ride. I wanted to share my personal experience because, honestly, it felt pretty intense, and maybe some of you are feeling it too.

It all started a few weeks ago. I noticed myself getting increasingly frustrated with, well, everything. Little things that usually wouldn’t bother me were suddenly HUGE deals. I felt like I was constantly hitting roadblocks. I started a new project at work, something I was super excited about, and BAM! Technical difficulties, communication breakdowns, you name it. It felt like every step forward was met with two steps back.

I decided to pull up my transit chart to see what was going on astrologically. And there it was: Mars, the planet of action and drive, was sitting right on top of Saturn, the planet of restriction and discipline. In my chart. It all started to become clearer.

My Experience: The Thick of It

  • Frustration Central: Seriously, the levels of frustration were off the charts. I’m usually a pretty patient person, but I found myself snapping at my partner, getting annoyed with colleagues, and generally feeling like I was walking through mud.
  • Projects stalled: As I mentioned, my work project just hit a wall. Every time I tried to push forward, something else would go wrong. It was like the universe was saying, “Nope, not yet!”
  • Feeling blocked: It felt as if I just couldn’t get anything accomplished. The more I pushed, the harder it got. It was like Saturn was this big, heavy weight on top of Mars’s fiery energy.
  • Body felt tense: My body started to become more tense by the day. This conjunction feeling started to show itself through me phsically.

I realized I needed to change my approach. Instead of fighting against the current, I decided to work with it. I started to practice mindfulness and did my best to understand where the root frustration laid.

So what has helped? Instead of trying to force things, I’ve been focusing on the details. Slowing down, being meticulous, and really paying attention to the process. Instead of starting five new things, I’m focusing on completing one thing to the best of my ability. Taking it step-by-step, and not trying to rush. Accepting the present.

It’s still a work in progress. But I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Mars-Saturn conjunction is still in effect, but I’m learning to navigate it. I think the key is to find the balance between Mars’s desire to go go go and Saturn’s need for structure and patience. This helped me and is still helping me, to get out the other side of this feeling.
