Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, mimicking the style and structure of the example, about the “2 of Wands as advice”:
So, I’ve been feeling super stuck lately, like I’m at this major crossroads and just spinning my wheels. I decided to do a little Tarot reading for myself, asking for advice on how to move forward. And guess what card popped up? The 2 of Wands.
At first, I was like, “Okay, cool picture…a guy holding a globe and a wand…what does that mean?” I’m no Tarot expert, that is for sure, I just play with my deck, I pulled out my favorite deck, the one with the dreamy artwork, and laid out a simple three-card spread. I focused on my question, shuffled, and drew.

My Little Experiment Begins
I grabbed my journal, a pen and start to write down the card and initial thoughts. My journal’s a mess, by the way – coffee stains, scribbled notes, the works. Anyway, back to the 2 of Wands. I did a little digging. Some websites, some books I got from, bookstore. It’s all about planning, making a choice, and having the courage to step into the unknown, right?
Then I wrote my feelings down. What it looks like. How make me feels. What next?
The “Aha!” Moment (Sort Of)
It hit me that I’ve been thinking about making a change, researching options, but I haven’t actually done anything concrete. I’ve been staring at that globe, so to speak, but haven’t booked the flight, packed my bags, or even decided where to go. Classic me, Overthinking. I was totally relating to that guy on the card, looking out at the world but still firmly planted where he was.
Putting the Wand to Work (My Action Plan)
So, I decided to take the 2 of Wands as a serious kick in the pants. Here’s what I did, step-by-step, to translate the card’s message into something I could actually use:
- Brain Dump: I grabbed a fresh page in my journal and just wrote down every single idea, big or small, that’s been bouncing around in my head. No filtering, no judging, just pure brain-dumping.
- Pick One Thing: From that messy list, I forced myself to pick one thing. One small, actionable step I could take today. It wasn’t easy, there were many options. I chose the smallest option.
- Do the Thing: I actually did the thing. It was a tiny step, I sent an email, which took like five minutes. But it was five minutes of action, not just thinking.
The Results (So Far)
Okay, I’m not going to lie, sending that one email didn’t magically solve all my problems. I haven’t suddenly transformed my life. But…it felt good. It felt like I finally had a little bit of momentum. Like I was actually holding that wand and pointing it in a direction, instead of just staring at it. And I am still waiting the reply from the email.
The 2 of Wands, for me, ended up being less about grand pronouncements and more about a gentle (or not-so-gentle) nudge to get moving. It’s a reminder that planning is important, but action is essential. And that even the smallest step can break the inertia and get you started on the path, wherever that path may lead.I’ll probably keep checking in with this card, just to remind myself to keep that momentum going. It’s a work in progress, for sure!
