Okay, so today I messed around with this “Mars Opposite Moon” thing in my birth chart. I’ve been seeing it pop up all over my astrology feeds, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
First, I needed to pull up my birth chart. You know, the whole shebang with the planets and houses and all that jazz. I already knew how to use it so I went and opened it.
Finding the Aspects
Next, I had to actually find the “opposition” aspect. It’s basically when two planets are directly across from each other in the chart. It’s a pretty big deal, * shows up as a red line connecting two symbols, so that’s what I was on the lookout for.
- I scanned the chart, looking for Mars. I know my Mars sign (it’s in Libra, by the way), so that helped.
- Then, I looked directly across the circle to see what was opposite my Mars.
Spotting the Moon
And there it was! My Moon is in Aries, so it was sitting right there, staring Mars down. It’s kind of dramatic, actually, now I think about the fire and air signs involved here, it seems obvious.
Making Sense of It All
Honestly, the descriptions I read were a bit intense. The interpretations were a bit of a downer. Something like I may have difficulty getting the love and affection I need, but I can balance it. I guess I can use my love of debating to bridge that gap?
So, yeah, that’s my Mars opposite Moon deep dive. It was fun and a bit of a self-discovery moment.
