Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “21st numerology” thing popping up all over my socials, and I was like, “What the heck is this all about?” So, naturally, I dove in.
My Little Experiment Begins
First, I grabbed my notebook and pen – gotta keep it old school, you know? Then, I started by jotting down some important dates. My birthday, my partner’s birthday, our anniversary… you get the idea. Basic stuff to start.
Next up, I needed to reduce all these dates down to single digits, which I did by using this process:

- I did to the numbers for my birthday 10/08/1992 is: 1+0+0+8+1+9+9+2=30
- Then, I had to reduce it down to a single number is: 3+0=3
- That’s my final number!
I did the same with all the other dates. It was actually kinda fun, like solving a little puzzle for each one. Honestly, It felt a bit meditative. Write it all down, add ’em up, reduce, repeat.
The “Aha!” Moment (Maybe?)
After reducing every date, I looked at the single digits I was left with. Now, according to what I’ve read, each number is supposed to represent certain traits or energies. Like, 1 is supposed to be about new beginnings, leadership and 2 is about partnership, balance and so on.
I started comparing the numbers with what I knew about those dates and the events associated with them. Honestly, some of it did kinda resonate. Like, there was a “3” around the time I started a new creative project, which is supposed to be about expression and communication. Coincidence? Maybe. Interesting? Definitely!
Still Skeptical, But…
Look, I’m not saying I’m a full-blown numerology believer now. I’m still a bit on the skeptical side, but this little experiment has been more fun. I enjoyed the process of calculation, the little bit of reflection it sparked. It’s kind of like a horoscope – you take what you like, and leave the rest, right?
I think I’ll keep playing around with this. Maybe I’ll try looking at some future dates, see if anything lines up. Who knows, maybe there’s something to this 21st numerology thing after all. I’ll keep exploring.
