Using The Devil Card as Advice: Find Your Inner power!

Using The Devil Card as Advice: Find Your Inner power!

Okay, so I pulled the Devil card today, and I was like, “What kind of advice is that?” But then I thought, “Let’s actually try to use this, see what happens.” It was a whole process, so let me walk you through it.

Facing My Inner Demons (aka Procrastination)

First thing I did was sit down and really think about what this card could mean for me right now. I mean, the Devil card, it’s all about those nasty things that have a hold on us, right? Temptations, addictions, bad habits… you name it.

And, well, I’ve been putting off this HUGE project. Like, majorly avoiding it. So that felt like a pretty Devil-ish situation. That project was like a chain around my neck, weighing me down with guilt and stress.

Breaking the Chains (aka Getting Started)

So, the Devil card, as advice? I decided to flip it. Instead of letting the “bad” thing control me, I’d confront it. Instead of being trapped, I’d break free.

  • I made a list. You know, all the little steps involved in this giant project. It was a long, scary list, not gonna lie.
  • Then I picked ONE thing. Just the smallest, easiest step. Like, “open the document” easy.
  • And I did it. Seriously, I just opened the document. That was it.

The Aftermath (aka Feeling Pretty Good)

Okay, so opening a document isn’t exactly conquering the world. But it felt…good. Like I’d taken a tiny bit of control back. The Devil card wasn’t telling me to be bad, it was telling me to recognize what was holding me back, and then to do something about it.

And I did some other little steps. It felt that my energy had broken the ice.

It’s still a work in progress, this whole Devil-as-advice thing. But I’m actually feeling pretty optimistic. I’ve got a long way to go on this project, but at least I’m finally moving. I faced the thing that was binding me, and I started to loosen the chains. And that, my friends, feels pretty darn powerful.
