Okay, so I’ve been getting into oracle cards lately. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you! I started with absolutely zero clue about them. Thought it was all a bit ‘woo-woo’, you know?
Finding My First Deck
First, I spent ages just browsing online, totally overwhelmed. There are SO many decks out there. I finally settled on one that just…spoke to me. The artwork was beautiful, all dreamy and nature-inspired. It’s called the “Whispers of the Forest” deck (not a real deck, I just made that up!).
Figuring Out How to Use Them
Unboxing was exciting, like opening a present! I loved the texture of this cards.

Then came the hard part – actually using them. The little guidebook that came with the deck was helpful, but only to a point. I felt a bit lost.
- I tried doing a simple one-card pull each morning, just to get a feel for the deck.
- Some days the card made perfect sense, other days I was like, “Huh?”
- I started journaling about my readings, which actually helped a lot. It was cool to see patterns emerge.
Getting More Comfortable (and a Little Weird)
After a few weeks, I got a bit bolder. I started trying different spreads – you know, those layouts where you put the cards in certain positions. The three-card spread (past, present, future) is my go-to now.
Honestly, some of the readings have been surprisingly accurate. It’s freaky! Like, one time I was stressing about a work project, and the cards basically told me to chill out and trust the process. And guess what? It all worked out fine.
Still Learning!
I’m definitely still a beginner. I’m still learning the meanings of the cards, and more importantly, learning to trust my intuition. It’s a journey, not a destination, right? And there’re many other unique decks out there waiting for me, so excited!
