Transit Mars Square Saturn: How to Survive This Tough Astrological Aspect!

Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with the transit Mars square Saturn, written in a casual, personal style:

So, I’ve been feeling off lately. You know, just blah. Not really motivated, a bit cranky, and like everything is taking ten times the effort it should. I finally looked at my transits, and boom – there it was: transit Mars square Saturn. Of course!

I’d been dreading this one. Mars is all about action, energy, and drive, and Saturn is, well, the cosmic “no” man. It’s restriction, delays, and feeling like you’re wading through molasses. Square them up, and it’s basically an astrological recipe for frustration.

My “Fun” Experience

First, I tried to tackle a home improvement project. I had this grand vision of re-organizing my closet. I spent, the money buying shelves and boxes, and then I started to do the project. Everything that could go wrong, did. The shelves were the wrong size, I couldn’t find half my tools, and I ended up with a bigger mess than I started with. Total Saturn move, right?

  • Attempt 1: Epic fail. Shelves don’t fit.
  • Attempt 2: Lost the instructions (and my patience).
  • Attempt 3: Gave up. Closet looks worse than before.

The Mars in me was furious. I wanted to just chuck everything out the window. But the Saturn part also made me feel this heavy sense of obligation to finish, even though it was clearly going nowhere. I was stuck in this push-pull of wanting to act and being completely blocked.

Work was no better, every proposal I sent out got delayed. It was like everything in my business started to stop at once. I feel like “why am I working so hard and not seeing any result?”

What I Actually Did (That Helped a Little)

After a few days of this, I decided to stop fighting it so hard. I mean, I’m no astrologer, but I’ve learned that sometimes the best way to deal with a tough transit is to just… lean into it. Sort of.

Instead of trying to force big projects, I focused on small, contained tasks. Things that had a definite beginning and end, and that I knew I could complete. I cleaned out one drawer. I answered a bunch of emails I’d been putting off. I even managed to do some exercise. It was low-intensity, but it helped.

I also started being more mindful of my energy levels. When I felt that Mars frustration building up, I’d take a break. Go for a walk, listen to some music, anything to step away from the situation. It didn’t magically fix everything, but it did help me avoid some major meltdowns.

I spent more time to do the daily work, like checking things for 3 times before sending it. I knew that I may make mistakes easily. I slowed down, took things easy.

It’s still ongoing, this transit, but I feel like I’m managing it a bit better. It’s definitely a reminder that sometimes, the best way to move forward is to slow down and be patient. And maybe, just maybe, to avoid major closet overhauls during a Mars-Saturn square.
