Okay, so the other day I got curious about this whole “23 numerology” thing. I’d seen it pop up here and there, and I figured, why not give it a shot? See if there’s anything to it.
My Dive into 23
First, I grabbed a pen and paper – old school, I know. Then I started jotting down some important dates in my life: my birthday, my wife’s birthday, our anniversary, the day my kid was born, stuff like that.
Next, I took each of those dates and mashed them all together into one long number. Like, if the date was January 1st, 2023, I wrote down 01012023. Simple enough, right?

After that, I got down to adding all those single digits up. For example, 0+1+0+1+2+0+2+3 equals 9. In this case, 9 is my number.
I repeated this process for every date I’d written down. Some of them gave me the number 23 straight away, which was kinda cool. Others, I had to keep adding the digits until I got a single-digit number. Like, if I ended up with 48, I’d add 4+8 to get 12, then 1+2 to get 3.
Now, the “23 numerology” thing seems to focus on the final number you get. Apparently, each number from 1 to 9 (plus a couple of special ones like 11, 22, and 33) has its own meaning. I’m no expert, but I did a little digging online to see what each number supposedly represents.
- Some of the numbers seemed to resonate with me, with things going on in my life at the time.
- Others, not so much.
Honestly, the whole experience was more of a fun little experiment than anything super serious. I don’t think I’ll be basing any major life decisions on numerology, but it was interesting to see how those numbers played out in my own little world.
I did try it out for a few days, and now I just keep this as a funny exprience.
