Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with astrology stuff lately, just for fun, you know? And I stumbled upon this whole “Mercury in the 4th house” thing. It sounded kinda cool, so I figured, why not see what’s up with that?
First, I had to figure out my own birth chart. I used one of those online calculators, put in my birth date, time, and place, and boom – there was my chart. I spotted Mercury right there in the 4th house. Didn’t really know what that meant at first, but I was curious.
Then I started digging around for info. I read a bunch of articles, watched some videos. It was all pretty interesting. They talked about how the 4th house is all about home, family, your roots, that kind of stuff. And Mercury, that’s the planet of communication, thinking, learning.

Putting Two and Two Together
So, putting those together, it seemed like having Mercury in the 4th house might mean something about how I communicate with my family, or maybe how my mind works when I’m at home. I started thinking about it, and yeah, it kinda made sense.
- I do love having deep conversations with my family. We can talk for hours about anything and everything.
- I also realized that I do a lot of my best thinking when I’m just chilling at home. It’s like my mind is clearer there.
- My mom used to love reading books when I was a little boy, I think that influenced me a lot.
I kept a little journal for a few weeks, jotting down whenever I noticed something related to this Mercury in the 4th house thing. Like, I had a really good brainstorming session with my sister about a project we’re working on. We were just hanging out at our parents’ place, and the ideas were just flowing.
And then there was that time I was trying to solve a problem at work, and I just couldn’t crack it. But then I went home, relaxed for a bit, and suddenly the solution just popped into my head.
It’s not like it’s some magical thing, but it’s definitely interesting to see how these little patterns show up in my life. I’m not saying I’m an astrology expert now or anything, but it’s been a fun little experiment. It’s cool to learn something new and see how it might relate to your own experiences, you know?
I guess I am still exploring all this. I might read some more, keep taking notes. But yeah, that’s my little journey with Mercury in the 4th house so far.
It was fun sharing my little experience with you all. If you are interested in it, you can also try it yourself and I hope you can share your story too.
