King of Wands Intentions: Simple Guide to Understanding the Card.

Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, written in a casual, conversational style, detailing my experience with the “King of Wands Intentions”:

So, I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I got really into this idea of setting intentions with specific cards. The King of Wands kept popping up, and everyone online was like, “Oh, he’s all about action and leadership!” So, I decided to give it a shot.

First, I grabbed my favorite deck, the one with the really cool artwork. I shuffled the cards, thinking about what I really wanted to achieve this week. I’m trying to be more assertive at work, so that was my main focus. Then, I pulled the King of Wands. Perfect, right?

My Little Ritual

  • I lit a candle. Just a regular, vanilla-scented one, nothing fancy.
  • I held the King of Wands card in my hands and really looked at it. Like, really looked at it. I noticed the fiery colors, the confident posture of the king, all that stuff.
  • I closed my eyes and visualized myself being all boss-like at work. Speaking up in meetings, taking charge of projects, you get the idea.
  • I said (out loud, which felt a little silly at first) something like, “I embrace the energy of the King of Wands. I am confident, I am a leader, I take action.” Cheesy, I know, but it felt good.
  • Then I put it near the window, where it could catch the early moring sunlight each day.

I kept the card on my desk all week, as a reminder. Whenever I felt myself hesitating or doubting myself, I would glance at it and remember my intention.

Honestly? It kind of worked! I spoke up more in meetings. I volunteered for a new project that I would normally have shied away from. I even confronted a coworker (nicely, of course) about something that had been bothering me.

It wasn’t like a magic spell or anything. I still had moments of doubt, and I definitely didn’t turn into a completely different person. But the King of Wands card, and the little ritual I did, helped me stay focused on my goal. It was like a little nudge in the right direction, a reminder to be brave and take action. I just tried to use it to change my mindset to a more active one.

I’m going to keep experimenting with this, maybe try different cards for different intentions. It’s a fun little way to add some intention to my day, and hey, if it helps me be a little more confident, I’m all for it!
