Dream Monkey Meaning: Explore the Symbolism in Your Dreams!

Alright, so, “Dream Monkey,” huh? Let me tell you about my little adventure with this. I wanted to make something that’s, I don’t know, kind of trippy and fun, all centered around this idea of a monkey dreaming.

First, I doodled a bunch. Seriously, just pages and pages of monkey sketches. Some were goofy, some were serious, some were just plain weird. I wanted to get a feel for what this “dream monkey” looked like in my head, you know?

Once I had a monkey I liked, I moved to my computer. I personally use this painting software. Nothing fancy. Opened up a new canvas and started blocking in the basic shapes.

  • Big, round head? Check.
  • Floppy ears? Check.
  • Cute, but slightly mischievous eyes? Double-check.

Then came the fun part – the colors! I didn’t want anything realistic. I went for bright, vibrant, almost psychedelic hues. Think swirling purples, electric blues, and neon greens. I wanted it to feel like you were actually inside a dream.

I added a simple space to put my monkey, I don’t know, a little dreamy.

I spent a good chunk of time just messing around with the background. I added swirls, stars, and all sorts of random shapes. The goal was to make it look chaotic, but also kind of beautiful, like a dream that doesn’t quite make sense, but still feels amazing.

The Final Touches

After I had all of monkey image, I took a step back and looked at the whole thing. It was pretty close, but it felt like it was missing something.

So, I added a few little * glows here and there.I played around with the lighting, just to give it a bit more depth and make it pop.

And that’s it! My “Dream Monkey” was done. It was a blast to create, and I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely dreamy and definitely monkey-ish, and that’s all I really wanted.
