Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about my little experiment with the Two of Wands card in a love tarot reading. I’ve been kinda curious about what the cards might say about my love life, or lack thereof, and I figured, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
So, first things first, I got myself a tarot deck. Nothing fancy, just a standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up online. I’m no tarot expert, but I did a bit of reading about how to do a basic spread. I decided to keep it simple and focus on the Two of Wands, since I read somewhere that it can be a sign of taking a chance, which, honestly, I kinda need to do in my love life.
Shuffling and Drawing
With the deck in hand, I shuffled the cards while thinking about my love life. I mean, I tried to focus my intentions and all that jazz. I’m not sure how much it matters, but hey, I was going all in. After shuffling for a bit, I spread the cards out in front of me and just went with my gut, I pulled out a card, trying to feel out which one I was most drawn to.

The Reveal
And guess what? I pulled the Two of Wands! I mean, how crazy is that? I placed it in front of me and stared it down. According to the little booklet that came with the deck, and some stuff I read online, this card upright can mean that things are going well, but they could be even better if I take a risk. In a love context, especially for someone single like me, it supposedly suggests that I should put myself out there more.
Interpreting the Card
I sat there for a while, just looking at the card and thinking about what it could mean for me. I thought about all those times I chickened out of asking someone out or swiped left on someone I was actually interested in. It was like the card was giving me a gentle nudge, or maybe a not-so-gentle shove, to step out of my comfort zone. And to be honest, it felt kinda right.
Taking Action
So, what did I do? Well, I didn’t go out and propose to the first person I saw, but I did start being a little more proactive. I messaged a few people I’d been kinda sorta interested in, and I even said yes to a date that I would have normally made some excuse to avoid. I can’t say if anything magical happened right away, but it felt good to be doing something, you know? Just taking that first step, thanks to a little cardboard rectangle.
- Baby Steps: I started small, sending out a few messages, nothing too wild.
- Saying Yes: I actually accepted a date invitation instead of hiding behind my usual excuses.
- Feeling Good: It was more about the act of doing something different than the immediate results.
Reflecting
It’s been a few weeks since I did this little tarot experiment. And while I’m not suddenly in a whirlwind romance, I do feel a shift. It’s like I’ve opened myself up to the possibility of something more, and that’s pretty cool. Whether it’s the tarot card or just a change in my mindset, I’m feeling more hopeful. It was worth taking that chance, and it was kind of fun seeing where it lead me. I’m not about to quit my job to become a full time tarot reader or anything. But I’d say, if you are on the fence, go for it. It’s worth trying!
Anyway, that’s my story about the Two of Wands. Maybe it’s all just coincidence, but it’s definitely given me something to think about. And who knows, maybe I’ll try another reading sometime soon. If I do, I’ll be sure to share what happens.
