Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, trying to figure out my whole “cosmic blueprint” thing. Today, I decided to focus on what it means to be a Cancer Sun, Aries Moon. It sounded kinda intense, so I was curious.
First, I pulled up my birth chart. You need your birth date, time, and place for this. I already had mine saved from a previous late-night astrology spiral. Seeing all those symbols and lines can be overwhelming, but I just focused on finding the Sun and Moon symbols.
There it was: Sun in Cancer, Moon in Aries. I jotted that down in my notebook. It’s kinda like my cosmic starting point.
What does this even mean
- Cancer Sun: I know Cancers are supposed to be all sensitive and homebody-ish. They love their families, are super caring, and can be a bit moody. Yeah, that sounds about right for some parts of me.
- Aries Moon: This is where things get interesting. Aries is all fire and energy. They’re impulsive, independent, and maybe a little bit confrontational. It felt like the opposite of Cancer.
I spent a good hour just reading different interpretations of this combo. Some websites made it sound like an internal battle, a constant push and pull between wanting to be cozy at home and wanting to charge out and conquer the world.
Then I thought the best way to put it to the test, see what it means by taking actions.
I started tracking how I felt throughout the day. When did I feel that Cancer-y need for comfort and security? When did that Aries Moon kick in and make me want to do something bold or speak my mind without thinking? It was pretty eye-opening. I noticed I’d get super emotional about something small (Cancer), but then immediately want to take action to fix it (Aries).
It’s like having a super soft, gooey center, but with a fiery, “let’s go!” outer shell. I’m still figuring it all out, but it’s been a fun (and sometimes confusing) process. I think to be a Cancer Sun, Aries Moon, I realize that I have to find a balance between these two very different energies.
