Playing Card Astrology: Learn the Basics & Easy Reading Tips!

Okay, so I stumbled upon this “playing card astrology” thing and thought, “Why not?” I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it involves a bit of mystery and cards. I grabbed a regular deck of playing cards, you know, the ones we usually use for poker night.

Getting Started

First, I needed to figure out what each card meant. I did some digging online. It’s kinda like tarot, but with regular playing cards. It turns out, each suit represents something different:

  • Hearts: These are all about emotions, love, and relationships. Pretty straightforward, right?
  • Diamonds: These focus on material stuff, like money, career, and possessions.
  • Clubs: These represent communication, learning, and ideas.
  • Spades: These are the tricky ones. They signify challenges, obstacles, and change.

Then, each number also has a meaning. Like, Aces are new beginnings, 2s are partnerships, and so on. It gets pretty detailed, but I just focused on the basics for my first try.

My First Reading

I decided to do a simple three-card spread. Shuffled the deck, focusing on a question I had about a project I’m working on. I laid out three cards face down, then flipped them over one by one.

My cards were:

  • The 7 of Hearts.
  • The King of Diamonds.
  • The 3 of Spades.

Okay so the seven of hearts represents relationships, and positive connections, partnerships or collaborations. The King of Diamonds is a business man and a man of status and wealth. 3 of spades is a disruption, changes and communication issues.

Making Sense of It

I went back to my notes to see what each card meant. It’s all about interpretation, so it’s not super exact, which I kinda like. It’s more about getting you thinking in a different way.

I realized the project i’m working on has a few disruptions, however, positive things are coming from those disruptions.

Final Thoughts

Honestly, it was pretty fun! It’s not like I’m going to base all my life decisions on this, but it did make me think about my project from a new perspective. It’s a cool way to spark some introspection. I might even try it again sometime, maybe with a more complex spread. It’s definitely more interesting than just flipping a coin!
