Okay, so, about that Tiger and Snake compatibility thing. I was curious about whether a Tiger person and a Snake person could get along, so I did a little experiment.
First, I found two people I knew, one born in the Year of the Tiger, the other in the Year of the Snake. Let’s call them Tom (Tiger) and Sally (Snake). They’re friends, but not super close, and they agreed to help me out. Tom is a typical Tiger, you know, brave, confident, always up for an adventure, a little bit bossy. Sally, she’s more reserved, thoughtful, kind of mysterious, she can be a bit emotional sometimes.
I decided to have them work on a project together, to see how they interacted. It was something simple, planning a weekend trip for a group of friends.
Here’s how it went down:
- Planning Phase: Tom, being the go-getter, immediately started brainstorming loud and threw out a bunch of ideas, like hiking in the mountains, renting a big cabin, having a bonfire. Sally, on the other hand, was quieter, she listened patiently, but I could tell she was carefully thinking things through. She wanted to make sure everyone’s preferences were considered, not just the loudest ones.
- Decision Making: This is where things got a bit tricky. Tom wanted to make quick decisions and move forward, but Sally preferred to weigh all the options carefully. There was a bit of tension here. Tom thought Sally was being indecisive, and Sally felt Tom was being too impulsive.
- Compromise: Eventually, they managed to find some common ground. Sally realized that Tom’s enthusiasm was valuable, and Tom started to appreciate Sally’s attention to detail. They ended up choosing a destination that wasn’t too wild, but still had some adventure elements. They compromised, which was a big step.
- Execution: Once the plan was set, they both played to their strengths. Tom took charge of booking accommodations and transportation, while Sally focused on creating a detailed itinerary and packing list. She even thought about things like dietary restrictions and first-aid, stuff that Tom would have totally overlooked.
In the end, the trip was a success. Everyone had a good time, and Tom and Sally actually worked pretty well together, despite their differences.
So, what did I learn from this little experiment? Well, it seems like Tiger and Snake people can be compatible, but it takes work. They need to understand and appreciate each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They might butt heads sometimes, but if they’re willing to compromise and communicate, they can make a pretty good team. Their numbers, Tom is 1 and Sally is 8. I guess that those two numbers is a good match.
It’s not always easy, but it’s definitely possible. They just need to be patient with each other, and maybe learn a thing or two from their different approaches to life.
That’s all for my observation. Hope you guys find it interesting. It is a long way to go for them. I will keep my eyes on it.
