Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “9 day numerology” thing popping up all over my socials, and, well, I got curious. You know me, always up for trying something new, especially if it involves a little bit of self-reflection. So, I decided to give it a shot and document the whole shebang.
Day 1: Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out what this whole 9-day numerology thing was even about. Did a quick search, found some basic info. Apparently, it’s about focusing on a specific life path number for nine days straight to kind of, you know, manifest some good vibes related to that number. Seemed simple enough.
I then calculated my life path number. Honestly, it’s pretty easy. You just add up all the digits of your birth date until you get a single-digit number. For example, if your birthday is July 4, 1990 (07/04/1990) you add 7 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 =30, then, 3+0 = 3. So, I will keep number 3.
Day 2-8: Daily Focus
- I read about the number 3: Researched what my life path number supposedly means. Found some interesting stuff about creativity, communication, and optimism.
- I journaled the number 3: Each day, I wrote down a few thoughts related to those number 3 traits. Like, did I feel particularly creative that day? Did I have any meaningful conversations?
- I did mini meditations the number 3: I’m not a big meditation person, but I found some short guided meditations focused on those number 3 themes. Five minutes, tops.
- I looked for my life path number everywhere: This was kind of silly, but I started noticing my number everywhere – on license plates, receipts, clocks. It felt like a little wink from the universe.
Day 9: Reflection
Okay, so the nine days are up. Did I suddenly become a super-creative, perfectly communicative, and always optimistic human? Nope. But did I feel a little more aware of those aspects of myself? Yeah, I think so.
It was kind of like setting a daily intention. By focusing on those number 3 qualities, I was more mindful of them throughout the day. It’s not magic, but it’s a nice little exercise in self-awareness. I probably even sparked a few ideas for some new projects, just by paying attention to my creative impulses.
Would I recommend it? Sure, why not. It’s a low-effort, low-stakes way to explore a little bit of numerology and maybe even learn something about yourself along the way. I wouldn’t expect any miracles, but it’s a fun little experiment.
