Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this yes or no oracle thing, you know, the one they say can tell ya if somethin’s gonna happen or not. Folks these days, always lookin’ for answers, ain’t they? Can’t just wait and see, gotta know right this minute, is it gonna be a yes or a no?
So, this oracle, they say it’s accurate. That’s a big word, accurate. Means it’s right, you know? Like when I say the rooster crows at sunrise, that’s accurate. But can this oracle thing be accurate all the time? I dunno. Seems kinda fishy to me.
- Is it really free? They say it’s free, but nothin’s truly free in this world, is it? Maybe they want somethin’ else from ya, your time, your thoughts, who knows?
- Can it answer any question? They say you can ask it anythin’. Anythin’ at all? Like, “Will my cow give extra milk tomorrow?” or “Will the rain stop before the washin’ dries?” Seems a bit much, don’t it?
They talk about tarot cards too. Fancy cards with pictures. Never messed with them myself. My grandma, she used to read tea leaves. Said she could see things in the bottom of the cup. Maybe that’s kinda like these cards. People lookin’ for signs, lookin’ for somethin’ to guide ’em.

And this divine thing they mention. Connect with the divine, they say. That’s church talk, ain’t it? Sounds all high and mighty. But can a deck of cards really talk to God? I ain’t so sure about that. Seems to me, God’s got bigger things to worry about than whether you should buy a new pair of shoes or not.
They promise instant answers. That’s what folks want these days, fast answers. Like instant coffee, instant mashed potatoes. Nobody wants to wait for nothin’ no more. But sometimes, waitin’ is part of life, ain’t it? You gotta wait for the crops to grow, gotta wait for the seasons to change. Maybe waitin’ for an answer ain’t such a bad thing.
This uncertainty they talk about, sayin’ goodbye to it. Well, life’s full of uncertainty. That’s just how it is. You never know what tomorrow’s gonna bring. Maybe that’s part of the fun, the not knowin’. If you knew everythin’ that was gonna happen, life would be kinda boring, wouldn’t it?
And they keep sayin’ it’s 100% accurate. Now, that’s a real big claim. Nothin’ in this world is 100% accurate, cept maybe death and taxes, like they say. Even the weather man gets it wrong half the time. So how can a bunch of cards be right all the time? Makes ya scratch your head, don’t it?
Yes or No Oracle, Oracle Yes and No, Yes and No Oracle Free, Oracle Yes and No Answers – they keep sayin’ the same thing over and over. Guess they want to make sure you hear it. But just sayin’ somethin’ a lot don’t make it true, does it? You can yell “the sky is green” all day long, but that don’t make it so.
They say this thing can reveal your destiny. Destiny, that’s another big word. Means what’s meant to be, I guess. But do we really want to know our destiny? Maybe it’s better not to know. Maybe it’s better to just live life day by day and see what happens. You make your own destiny, that’s what I say. You work hard, you be good to people, and things will mostly work out alright. Mostly.
And then there’s this idea of a single clear and effective answer. Life ain’t always clear and simple, is it? Sometimes things are messy, sometimes you don’t get a clear answer, sometimes you just gotta go with your gut. And sometimes, there ain’t just a yes or no answer. Sometimes it’s maybe, sometimes it’s wait and see, sometimes it’s somethin’ else entirely.
So, is this yes or no oracle accurate? I don’t know. Maybe for some folks it is, maybe it ain’t. Maybe it’s just a bit of fun, somethin’ to pass the time. Maybe it gives people comfort, makes ’em feel like they got some control over things. But me? I’ll stick to lookin’ at the clouds and listenin’ to the wind. They ain’t always right neither, but at least they’re honest about it. And they don’t try to sell ya nothin’. And that, in my book, is worth a whole lot more than a yes or no.

Think for yourself, that’s what I say. Don’t let some cards or some fancy website tell ya what to do. You got a brain, use it. You got a heart, listen to it. And you’ll figure things out just fine. Yes or no, that ain’t the only way to look at things, you know.
