Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “numerology” thing pop up all over my social media feeds. You know, the usual “find your life path number” and “what your birthday reveals about you” kind of stuff. I’m usually pretty skeptical of these things, but I figured, what the heck, let’s give it a shot. I decided to play around with it and see what all the fuss was about.
First, I grabbed a pen and paper – old school, I know, but I like to see things written down. I did not choose any digital tools, I prefer the original way. Then, I looked up my birthday: December 25, 1988.
Calculating My Life Path Number
The process seemed simple enough. You basically add up all the digits in your birth date until you get a single digit. So, here’s how it went down:

- Day: 25 -> 2 + 5 = 7
- Year: 1988 -> 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 26 -> 2 + 6 = 8
Then, I added those results together: 3 + 7 + 8 = 18. And finally, reduced that to a single digit: 1 + 8 = 9. So, apparently, my life path number is 9.

Then, I wanna tried to add all the numbers in order from 1 to 20.
- 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17+18+19+20=210
- 2+1+0=3
So, that mean, the number of this caculation should be “3”.It lookes like my life path number is opposite.
I spent a good hour just poking around, reading about the supposed characteristics of a “9” – things like compassion, humanitarianism, and a creative streak. Some of it kinda resonated, some of it felt like a stretch. I mean, who doesn’t like to think of themselves as compassionate, right?
Honestly, I’m still on the fence about the whole numerology thing. It was a fun little exercise, and I can see why people find it intriguing.
