Okay, so, today I wanna talk about this “Virgo Monkey” thing I’ve been messing around with. It all started when I got curious about those personality type things, you know, like, what sign you are and all that jazz.
I found out I’m a Virgo, which, from what I read, means I’m kinda into details and like things to be just right. Then I stumbled upon this whole other layer where they combine your Western zodiac sign with the Chinese zodiac. Turns out, I’m also a Monkey in the Chinese system, so, boom, Virgo Monkey.
My Discovery Journey
First, I dug into what it means to be a Virgo. Apparently, we’re supposed to be, like, super organized, practical, and maybe a little bit critical, always striving for perfection. I gotta say, that’s kinda me. I do like things a certain way and tend to get lost in the details.

Then, I checked out the Monkey side of things. These folks are supposed to be smart, adaptable, and quick-witted, but also a bit restless and easily distracted. They like to keep things fresh and exciting. That resonated with me too! I’m always up for learning new stuff, and yeah, I can get bored pretty easily if things aren’t moving fast enough.
So, putting the two together, a Virgo Monkey is supposed to be this mix of analytical and adaptable, detail-oriented but also kinda spontaneous. It is all about communication. And I found myself writing, just like this.
Putting it all together
The whole “perfectionist” thing really hit home. I’ve always been that way, even as a kid. I remember spending hours organizing my toys, making sure everything was in its perfect spot. And yeah, I can be a bit critical, but I think it comes from a good place. I just want things to be the best they can be.
The Monkey’s restlessness also made sense. I’m always jumping from one project to the next, always looking for something new and exciting to sink my teeth into. I sometimes struggle with long time works. I guess that’s why I’m drawn to things like blogging, where I can explore different topics and share my thoughts with the world.
