So, the other day, I got this love oracle deck. I’ve been seeing these things all over the internet, and I finally caved and got one. I’m not really into fortune-telling, but I thought it could be a fun little experiment.
First off, I opened the box and looked through all the cards. They had some pretty nice artwork on them, all lovey-dovey and romantic. Each card had a different message, something about relationships, love, or heartbreak. I shuffled them around a few times, just to get a feel for them.
Then, I decided to try a simple reading. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and focused on a question about my love life. It wasn’t anything too serious, just something I was curious about. I shuffled the deck again and cut it into three piles. Then I picked the top card from the middle pile.
- I flipped it over, and there it was. The card had a picture of two people holding hands, walking into the sunset. The message was something about taking a leap of faith in love.
- It was kind of vague, but it did resonate with me a little. I’ve been hesitant to put myself out there lately, so maybe this was a sign to be more open to possibilities.
- I did a few more readings after that, just for fun. Some of the cards were surprisingly accurate, while others were just general advice.
My Thoughts
Overall, it was a pretty interesting experience. I don’t think I’ll be using the love oracle deck to make any major life decisions, but it was a fun way to reflect on my feelings and maybe get a little bit of guidance. It’s definitely something I’d pull out again, maybe with friends or just when I’m feeling a bit introspective. Who knows, maybe there’s some truth to these cards after all!
