Okay, so today I decided to try something totally different – a New Age store tarot card reading. I’ve always been a bit curious about tarot, but never actually had a reading done. So, I figured, why not? Let’s dive in!

First things first, I needed to find a place that did readings. I did a quick search and found a few New Age stores nearby. I picked one that had good reviews and seemed to have a nice, chill vibe. I didn’t want anything too intense or intimidating for my first time.

The reader was a really calm and friendly person. We sat down at a small table in a quiet corner of the store. They shuffled the cards and asked me to focus on a question or area of my life that I wanted guidance on. I wasn’t sure at first, so they let me do just general reading.
Then, they laid out the cards in a specific pattern – I think it was called a Celtic Cross spread? – and started explaining what each card meant in relation to my life. They talked about my past, present, and potential future, and how different aspects of my life were connected.
My Impressions
Honestly, the whole experience was pretty fascinating. It felt like they could see me in ways that a regular person cant. Some of the things they said were surprisingly accurate, and it gave me a lot to think about. It was like, it touched on something deep within me.
It wasn’t about predicting the future in a concrete way, but more about offering insights and perspectives that I might not have considered. It made me think about my choices, my relationships, and my goals in a new light.
The Aftermath
After the reading, I felt…lighter, somehow. Like I had a better understanding of myself and the things going on in my life. I even bought a deck of tarot cards for myself! I don’t know if I’ll become a regular reader, but it’s definitely something I want to explore further. Maybe I can use it to relax myself. Or maybe I can do some reading for my family and friends!
