Okay, so, lately I’ve been seeing the number 1191 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks, you name it. It’s like this number is following me around. At first, I brushed it off as a coincidence, but it kept happening, over and over again. It got to the point where I started to feel like there might be something more to it.
So, I started paying more attention. When did I see it? Where was I? What was I doing? I even started jotting down every instance in a little notebook I carried around. I know, it sounds a bit crazy, but I was determined to figure out what was going on.
After a couple of weeks of this, I noticed a pattern. Most of the time, I would see the number when I was thinking about making a change in my life or when I was feeling uncertain about the future. For example, one time I was thinking about going back to school, and then I looked up and saw 1191 on the side of a bus. Another time, I was feeling down about my job, and then I got a text message with that number in it.
Realizations
This is when I started doing some research online. I stumbled upon this idea of “angel numbers” and how they can be messages from the universe or your guardian angels, or whatever you want to call it. I’m not usually one for this kind of stuff, but the more I read, the more it seemed to fit my situation.

- It’s also supposed to be a reminder to stay positive and trust that everything is going to work out.
Now, I’m not saying I suddenly became a believer in all things spiritual. But, I have to admit, seeing 1191 and thinking about its supposed meaning did make me feel a little bit better. It was like a little nudge from the universe, telling me to keep going and to have faith in myself.
Since then, I’ve started taking some steps towards making those changes I was thinking about. It’s been a slow process, but I definitely feel like I’m moving in the right direction. And, wouldn’t you know it, I still see 1191 from time to time. But now, instead of feeling confused or weirded out, I just smile and take it as a sign that I’m on the right track. It’s kind of become my own little inside joke with the universe.
Whether or not you believe in angel numbers, I think there’s something to be said for paying attention to the signs around you. Sometimes, what seems like a coincidence might actually be something more. And even if it’s not, taking a moment to reflect on your life and your goals can never hurt, right?
So if you keep seeing any numbers lately, don’t ignore it! Maybe it’s trying to tell you something. And if not, at least you got a good story out of it, right?
