Page of Wands as Timing Card, Get a yes or no answer.

Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, written in a casual, personal style, about figuring out the “Page of Wands timing” based on a practice:

So, I was messing around with my tarot deck today, trying to get a better handle on timing with the cards. I’ve always struggled with that – like, when is this “soon” the cards keep hinting at? I decided to focus on the Page of Wands, since it often pops up for me when I’m starting something new, and I had a specific project in mind.

I started by shuffling the deck, really focusing on my question: “When will I see some real progress on this new writing project?” I pulled the Page of Wands, which, okay, felt right. It’s all about that initial spark, that creative energy, right?

My Process:

  • First Attempt (Intuition): I just went with my gut. Page of Wands… young, energetic… I thought, “Okay, maybe a week? Maybe two?” That felt too quick, though.
  • Second Attempt (Elemental Dignities): I’m using simple system about elemental dignities. Wands are fire, fast, hot. So, I thought: Days. I picked number between one to ten.
  • Third Attempt (Looked at the Card):Then I put the card in front of my eyes. I saw the little salamanders. I remember salamanders are very sensitive to weather changes. So, I made a decision. It’s about weather change!

Putting It All Together

I felt excited after my practice. The weather changed next day. My writing project really started moving the day after weather changes. It was such a fun experiment!

It just goes to show, sometimes you gotta get your hands dirty, try things out, and see what clicks. It is so interesting to see what will happen when combing the cards and other little things in life!
