Alright, let’s talk about this oracle thing, you know, the one they say can tell you stuff. Folks call it “oracle free reading online,” sounds fancy, but lemme tell ya, it ain’t rocket science. It’s like, you got questions, right? Everybody’s got questions. “Will my crops be good this year?” “Will my chickens lay more eggs?” Stuff like that.

You go online, and they got these cards, picture cards. Tarot cards, they call ’em. Some got pictures of angels, some got moons and stars, all sorts of things. I seen one with a fella hangin’ upside down, looked mighty uncomfortable.
- They ask you to think about your question. Real hard, they say. Gotta focus your mind. Easier said than done, with all them grandkids runnin’ around.
- Then you click a button, and the cards, they shuffle themselves. Magic, they say. I dunno, seems like computer stuff to me. My old radio does somethin’ similar when I try to find that country music station.
- Then, they show you some cards, and they tell you what they mean. Love, money, work, health… all the important stuff. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it don’t. Like that one time it told me I’d meet a tall dark stranger. Turned out to be the fella sellin’ them newfangled tractors. Not quite what I was expectin’.
They got different kinds of readings, too. “Love readings,” they call ’em. For folks lookin’ for love, I guess. Me? I found love a long time ago, with my old man, bless his soul. We didn’t need no cards to tell us we were meant to be. But these young folks nowadays, they always lookin’ for somethin’ more, somethin’ special. Maybe these cards can help ’em, maybe not. Who am I to judge?
Then there’s “career readings.” Now that’s somethin’ I can kinda understand. Worried about your job, if you’re gonna make enough to feed your family. That’s a real worry, a worry I know well. These cards, they say they can give you advice, tell you if you should take a new job, or stick with what you got. Advice is cheap, though. My neighbor Bess, she gives advice all the time, whether you ask for it or not. And half the time, she’s wrong as rain.
And then there’s “financial readings.” Money, money, money. Always about money. Will I have enough to pay the bills? Will I be able to fix that leaky roof? Will I ever be able to afford a new pair of boots? These cards, they say they can help you with that too. Tell you if you’re gonna come into some money, or if you need to be careful with your spendin’. Well, I can tell you that for free: always be careful with your spendin’! Money don’t grow on trees, you know.
They got all sorts of fancy names for these readings. “Celtic Cross,” “True Love,” “Past-Present-Future.” Sounds like somethin’ out of a storybook. But at the end of the day, it’s just cards, right? Pictures on pieces of paper. Can they really tell the future? Can they really give you advice that’s worth a darn? I don’t know. Maybe it’s like prayin’. You put your hopes and fears out there, and sometimes, just sometimes, you get an answer. Maybe the answer comes from the cards, maybe it comes from somewhere else. Maybe it was there all along, and you just needed somethin’ to help you see it.
So, if you’re lookin’ for answers, and you got nothin’ to lose, give it a try. This “oracle free reading online” thing. Maybe it’ll help, maybe it won’t. But it’s free, right? And sometimes, free is all you can afford. Just don’t go bettin’ the farm on what them cards tell ya. Use your own common sense, that’s what I say. Common sense and a whole lotta hard work, that’s the real secret to a good life. Them cards might be fun to look at, though. And who knows, maybe they’ll surprise ya.
