Okay, so I tried something new today. You know how sometimes you’re just curious about how people see you? Well, I got this idea to use tarot cards for that. Sounds weird, I know, but stick with me. I chose the Page of Swords because, well, it just seemed right at that moment.
First, I got my tarot deck out. It’s this old one I’ve had for ages. I shuffled the cards while thinking about the question, “How do people see me?” I’m not a pro at this, so I just did what felt natural. I spread the cards out on my table, face down. My cat, Mittens, watched me the whole time, probably thinking I’m nuts. Anyway, I picked a card from the middle of the spread.
The Reveal
And guess what? It was the Page of Swords. Now, I had to figure out what this card meant. I grabbed my little tarot guidebook and flipped through it. The Page of Swords is all about being curious, asking questions, and having a sharp mind. It can also mean being a bit defensive or maybe even a little argumentative.

- Curious: Always digging for information.
- Sharp Mind: Quick thinker, good at analyzing.
- Defensive: Maybe a bit guarded or ready to argue.
I sat there for a while, thinking about it. Does this sound like me? I do like to learn new things and ask a lot of questions. I guess I can be a bit argumentative sometimes, especially when I’m passionate about something. It’s like, I’m not trying to be difficult, but I just want to understand things properly, you know?
So, I decided to ask a few close friends what they thought. I explained what I did and what the card meant. They laughed a bit, but they agreed that the description was pretty spot-on. One of them said I’m always full of questions, which is true. Another friend mentioned that I can be a bit stubborn in discussions. Ouch, but fair.
It was a fun little experiment. It’s not like I’m going to change my whole personality based on a tarot card, but it was interesting to see how the Page of Swords might reflect how others see me. Maybe it’s a reminder to keep being curious but also to try to be a bit more open-minded in conversations.
I think I’ll try this again sometime. Maybe with a different card, just to see what comes up. Who knows what other insights I might get? It’s all about learning and growing, right?
