Okay, so, a while back, I got really into this thing called “archangel magic card.” I’d heard people talking about them, you know, how they carry some kind of special energy, and I was like, “What’s that all about?” Gotta admit, I was going through a bit of a rough patch, felt stuck, and I was just hoping to find something, anything, to help me get unstuck.
So I started reading up on it. Basically, each card is linked to a specific archangel, and they’re supposed to help you with different things. Like, one of them, Sandalphon, is supposed to help you, like, be true to yourself and speak your mind. I thought, “Hey, that sounds pretty good!”
Getting Started
First, I had to actually get my hands on a deck. That wasn’t too hard. You can’t really go wrong just finding one.

Then came the interesting part. I started by just looking at the cards, getting a feel for them. Each one has this, like, really intense artwork, and it’s supposed to represent the energy of the archangel. Honestly, some of them were a little intense at first!
Daily Practice
- Cleansing: Before using the cards, I’d do this little cleansing ritual. Just kind of waving them through some sage smoke, nothing too fancy. It just felt right, you know, to clear out any old energy.
- Asking the question: I’d close my eyes, take a few deep breaths, and think about what I wanted guidance on. It could be anything – a problem I was facing, a decision I had to make, or just a general “What do I need to know today?” kind of thing.
- Drawing a card: Then, I’d shuffle the deck and pull out a card. Sometimes I’d get a card that really resonated with my question, other times it would feel a bit random.
- Reflection: This was the key part. I’d look at the card, read the little description that came with it, and just think about how it related to my life. Sometimes the message was super obvious, other times I had to really dig deep to find the meaning.
What I Learned
Now, I’m not saying these cards magically solved all my problems. But they did help me to focus my thoughts, to think about things from a different perspective. Like, if I got the Sandalphon card, I’d really try to be more honest with myself and others that day. Or if I got a card about healing, I’d try to be more mindful of my physical and emotional well-being. It just kind of gave me this framework to work with.
I also noticed that I started to feel a bit more, I don’t know, connected? To something bigger than myself, maybe. It’s hard to explain. It wasn’t like I suddenly had all the answers, but I felt a little more peace, a little more hope. Also I started to just speak my truth, like openly, which was pretty freeing.
Keeping it up
I still use the cards, not every day, but pretty regularly. It’s become this little ritual that I really enjoy. It’s not about predicting the future or anything like that. It’s more about self-reflection, and just taking some time to check in with myself. I feel like I released some negative emotions along the way, not sure if that was because of the cards, but it certainly didn’t hurt.
Honestly, I think anyone could benefit from giving it a try. Even if you don’t believe in the whole “archangel” thing, it’s just a cool way to tap into your own intuition and maybe get a fresh perspective on things. Who knows, you might even surprise yourself with what you discover!
