Okay, so, I got into this angel tarot reading thing a while back. I’m not really a super spiritual person or anything, but I’m always up for trying new things, you know? So, I figured, why not give it a shot?
First, I got my hands on an angel tarot deck. It was pretty easy, I just grabbed one online. There are tons of different ones out there, but I picked one that looked cool and had some good reviews. Then, I spent some time getting to know the cards. I didn’t memorize all the meanings or anything, but I flipped through them a few times, just to get a feel for the images and the general vibe. I also read the little booklet that came with the deck. It was helpful, I guess, but I wasn’t too worried about getting everything perfect.
When I felt ready, I found a quiet spot in my house and made sure I was all chilled out. I read somewhere that the environment was important. I lit a candle ’cause it seemed like the thing to do, and put on some relaxing music in the background. I closed my eyes, took a few deep breaths, and focused on what I wanted to ask the cards. My question was about work, like, “What should I be focusing on in my career right now?”

I shuffled the deck while thinking about my question, then laid out the cards in a simple three-card spread that I found online. This was supposed to represent the past, present, and future. To be honest, I felt a little silly at first, like I was playing make-believe. But I kept going. I turned over the cards one by one and tried to see what they might mean for me. One card showed an angel holding a scale, which I thought could symbolize balance. Another one showed a bunch of angels working together, which made me think about teamwork. The last card had an angel with a bright light, which I interpreted as a sign of a positive future.
- First Card: An angel with scales. I took this to mean I needed to find more balance in my work life.
- Second Card: Angels working together. This made me realize the importance of collaborating with my colleagues.
- Third Card: An angel with a bright light. I saw this as a sign that my career was headed in the right direction.
I wrote down my thoughts in a notebook, like a journal entry, so I wouldn’t forget them. I was honestly surprised by how much the reading resonated with me. It wasn’t like the cards gave me a super specific answer, but they gave me some good food for thought.
Now, after my first reading, I do it every now and then, usually when I have a question or just want to see what’s up. It’s become a nice little ritual, I guess. And it’s definitely helped me think about things in a different way. I still wouldn’t call myself a tarot expert or anything, but it’s been a fun and surprisingly insightful experience.
