Okay, so, like, a couple of weeks ago, I started seeing this number, 925, everywhere. Seriously, everywhere. It was kinda freaking me out at first, you know? I googled it and found out it might be an “angel number.” Apparently, these numbers are messages from, like, your guardian angels or something. Sounds a bit woo-woo, but hey, I was curious.
The stuff I read said 925 is all about change, new beginnings, and trusting your gut. And honestly? That resonated with me. I’d been feeling kinda stuck in a rut with my job. It was fine, paid the bills, but I wasn’t passionate about it. I had this nagging feeling like I should be doing something more… something different.
My Experiment
So, I decided to run a little experiment. I figured, why not, right? I’d embrace the idea of 925 as a sign to shake things up. My plan was simple:
- Listen to my intuition. If I had an urge to do something out of the ordinary, I’d do it.
- Say “yes” more. Opportunities, invitations, whatever – I’d just go for it.
- Start exploring new things. I made a list of stuff I’d always wanted to try but never had.
First thing I did? I signed up for a pottery class. Always wanted to try that. It was messy and hilarious, and I made some truly terrible-looking bowls, but I loved it. Then, a friend asked if I wanted to go on a last-minute weekend trip to the mountains. Old me would have said no – too much planning, too much money. But 925 me? I packed a bag and went. It was amazing.
The biggest thing, though, was my job. I’d been toying with the idea of freelancing as a writer for ages. It felt risky, though. Giving up a steady paycheck? Scary stuff. But after seeing 925 for the hundredth time on a license plate, I finally took the plunge. I started reaching out to potential clients, building a portfolio, all that jazz.
The Outcome
It wasn’t easy. There were definitely some bumps along the way. A few clients ghosted me, I had to learn a bunch of new skills, and there were days when I questioned my sanity. But, slowly but surely, things started to fall into place. I landed a few regular clients, I was actually enjoying my work, and I had way more flexibility than I ever did at my old job. I started to make a change.
Now, I’m not saying that seeing 925 magically transformed my life. But it did give me the push I needed to take some chances. It was like a little nudge from the universe, saying, “Hey, it’s okay to try something new. Trust yourself.” And that’s what I did. I kept working, stayed true to myself, and kept going. And you know what? I think those angels might be onto something. I made it!
