Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with “3 of Wands as intentions”:
So, I’ve been playing around with using tarot cards for setting intentions, and let me tell you, it’s been pretty interesting. Today, I wanted to focus on the 3 of Wands, because, well, it just felt right. I was needing that future, expansion, and foresight vibe.
Getting Started
First, I cleared my space. You know, lit some incense, made sure the cat wasn’t going to jump on the table, the usual. Then, I shuffled my deck while thinking about what I wanted to achieve. My main thing was figuring out my next steps for my little side hustle – selling handmade candles. I’ve been doing okay, but I’m ready to, like, really do it.

The Draw
I laid out the cards, and boom, there it was – the 3 of Wands. I actually laughed a little. It felt so on the nose. The card, with that figure looking out at the ships, it just screams “look to the future!” and “your plans are in motion!”.
Setting the Intentions
- I grabbed my journal and started brainstorming. First, I wrote down the obvious: “Expand my candle business.” But I wanted to be more specific.
- So, I added, “Research new online marketplaces.” Etsy’s been good, but I want to see what else is out there.
- Then, I thought about collaborations. “Reach out to 3 local shops about carrying my candles.” Getting into physical stores feels like a big step.
- I even jotted down, “Start planning for holiday markets.” It’s never too early, right? Because I saw that those “ships” on the card are like things that take time.
Putting it into Action
This wasn’t just about writing stuff down. I actually started doing it. I spent a couple of hours that day looking at different online platforms. I even drafted a couple of emails to local boutiques. It felt good to be doing something, not just dreaming about it.
The Results (So Far!)
It’s still early days, but I feel like pulling that 3 of Wands really gave me a push. I’m feeling more focused and, honestly, more confident. I’ve already heard back from one of the shops, and they’re interested! I’m taking that as a good sign. It’s like the universe is saying, “Yeah, you’re on the right track.”
I’m going to keep this card on my desk for a while, as a reminder to keep looking ahead and keep putting in the work. It is not magic, you know? But, for real, It helped me so much.
