Okay, so I’ve been seeing 8800 everywhere lately. On license plates, receipts, clocks… it was getting a little freaky. I’m not usually one for angel numbers, but this felt… persistent. So, I decided to actually do something about it, instead of just noticing it and moving on.
My 8800 Experiment
First, I looked up what 8800 supposedly means. You know, the usual Google search. Most of the stuff was about abundance, financial blessings, and being on the right path. Honestly, it all sounded pretty good, but I’m a practical person. I needed to see how this played out in my life.
- Step 1: Awareness. I started actively looking for 8800. Not just passively seeing it, but consciously acknowledging it. Every time I saw it, I’d take a deep breath and think about what I was doing, feeling, or thinking at that moment.
- Step 2: Journaling. Yeah, I know, journaling. But it helps! I started writing down every instance of 8800. I noted the date, time, where I saw it, and what was going on around me. This was actually the most helpful part.
- Step 3: Action. This is where things got interesting. After a week of just observing, I started using the 8800 sightings as little prompts. If I saw it while thinking about a project, I’d commit to spending at least 15 minutes working on it. If I saw it while feeling stressed, I’d take a break and do something I enjoyed.
The Results (So Far)
It’s been about a month, and I’m still seeing 8800, but my relationship with it has changed. It’s less “spooky coincidence” and more like a friendly reminder.

Here’s what I’ve noticed:
- I’m definitely more mindful. Paying attention to the 8800 has forced me to be more present in my day-to-day life.
- I’m getting more done. Those little 15-minute bursts of action? They add up! I’ve actually made progress on a couple of projects I’d been putting off.
- I’m feeling… more optimistic? This one is harder to quantify, but I do feel like I’m approaching things with a more positive attitude. Maybe it’s the abundance thing, maybe it’s just the power of positive thinking.
I’m not saying 8800 is magic, but actively engaging with it has definitely had a positive impact on my life. I’m going to keep experimenting with this and see where it leads. It is all a good and practical try for myself.
