Yesterday, I stumbled upon this cool thing called “Tarot of Dreams,” and I just had to give it a try. I’ve always been a bit curious about tarot, but never really dove in. So, I figured, why not?
First, I found a quiet spot in my house. You know, somewhere I wouldn’t be bothered. I lit a candle – mostly for the vibes, to be honest – and laid out a nice cloth on my coffee table. It felt a bit silly at first, but hey, I was committing to the experience!
Then, I grabbed the deck I’d ordered online. It was a “Tarot of Dreams” deck. I shuffled the cards, trying to focus on, well, nothing in particular. I didn’t have a specific question in mind, I just wanted to see what would happen.
My First Reading
- I cut the deck, like I’d seen in some videos.
- Then, I fanned the cards out face down. It looked pretty impressive, if I do say so myself.
- I hovered my hand over them for a bit, trying to “feel” the right card. Cheesy, I know, but I was going with it.
- Finally, I picked three cards and flipped them over.
Okay, so the cards I got were… interesting. I don’t remember the exact, So I spent a good chunk of time on some websites, trying to decipher what it all meant. It was a lot of flowery language and symbolism, kind of like reading poetry that you don’t quite understand.
I jotted down some notes in my journal, trying to connect the card meanings to, you know, my actual life. I did some thinking. Like, was there anything stressing me out? Any big decisions I was putting off?
After all that, I packed up the cards. Honestly, I’m still not sure what to make of it all. It was definitely a fun experience, though. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, maybe with a more specific question in mind. I don’t know if I’m a “believer” now, but it’s definitely given me something to chew on. I think I am getting into Tarot!
