Okay, so I’ve been seeing the number 3332 everywhere lately. Like, on license plates, receipts, clocks… it’s been kinda freaking me out. So, I decided to do something about it instead of just worrying. I decided to treat this as a sign and actively engage with it.
My 3332 Experiment
First, I jotted down every instance I saw the number. I just used a little notepad I carry around. I wanted a real record, not just a vague memory of “seeing it a lot.”
- Day 1: Saw it on a bus number (3332, obviously), then on a price tag ($33.32!), and then again in the page number of a book I was reading. Kinda spooky, right?
- Day 2: This is where I really started paying attention. I woke up and the first thing I did check the time on my phone: 3:32 AM. Okay… weird. Later, I got a coffee, and guess what the total was? Yup, $3.32.
- Day 3: I consciously trying to be present in what I do every time I see this number.
After a few days of just recording, I tried to actively use the number. Whenever I see it, I stopped what I was doing and reflect on my action.
It is weird and I felt uncomfortable at the beginning to use a number like that.
But it did help me to think about what I was doing. I can’t tell you there will be any sign for you when you do this but you may want to give it a try.
