Year of the Rabbit 7s: Your Lucky Slot? Find Out Now!

Year of the Rabbit 7s: Your Lucky Slot? Find Out Now!

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “Year of the Rabbit” theme, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I decided to go all-in on the “7s” thing – you know, because rabbits, luck, and seven is a lucky number… It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Getting Started

First, I brainstormed a bunch of ideas. What could I even do with sevens and rabbits? I scribbled down everything that came to mind, no matter how silly. Lots of carrots, hopping, maybe some playing cards? It was a mess, honestly.

The Process

Then I started sketching. I’m no artist, but I can draw a stick figure rabbit, so that’s where I began. I tried to incorporate the number 7 everywhere – seven carrots, seven hops, a rabbit wearing a 7 jersey… you get the picture. My desk was covered in paper, most of it ending up in the trash.

  • First attempt: A rabbit juggling seven carrots. Disaster.
  • Second attempt: Seven rabbits in a line, hopping. Better, but boring.
  • Third attempt: A rabbit holding a playing card (the 7 of hearts, naturally). Getting somewhere!

I actually did try all this, and the result was not pretty. But I kept going.

Making It Happen

After the sketching, I moved to my computer, and made the picture, with many digital tools. I played around with colors and styles. I wanted something cute but also a little bit… magical, I guess.

The digital part took the longest. I spent hours tweaking tiny details, changing colors, moving things around. It’s frustrating, but also kind of addictive.

The Final Result

Finally, I had something I was (mostly) happy with. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. It’s a rabbit, it’s got sevens, and it definitely captures the chaotic energy of this whole project. I might even print it out and stick it on my fridge. Or maybe not. We’ll see.

So, that’s the story of my “Year of the Rabbit 7s” adventure. It was messy, a little bit crazy, but I actually learned a few things along the way. And hey, at least I have a unique piece of rabbit art now, right?
