Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just trying to get a handle on this whole “divination” thing. Today, I pulled The Emperor as my advice card, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a trip.
First off, I laid out my cards like I usually do – nice and neat, you know? Cleared my head, shuffled the deck, the whole nine yards. I was feeling pretty chill, just hoping for a little guidance on a project I’ve been working on. Then, BAM! The Emperor pops up.
Now, this card, it’s all serious-looking. You got this dude sitting on a throne, all stiff and formal. My first thought was, “Uh oh, am I in trouble?” But then I remembered, it’s supposed to be advice, not a scolding.

Taking Charge
So I started digging into what this Emperor dude was all about. Turns out, he’s all about taking charge. Like, not in a bossy, mean way, but more like, “Hey, you got this, but you gotta step up.” It made me realize I’d been kind of wishy-washy about my project. Lots of ideas, but not a lot of action.

Getting Organized
The Emperor is also big on structure and planning. My workspace? A total disaster zone. Papers everywhere, notes on random scraps, digital files all over the place. No wonder I was feeling overwhelmed! The card was basically telling me to get my act together and create some order out of this chaos. So, I spent the whole afternoon tidying up, organizing files, making lists. Feels good, man. That was a great feeling to get things organized and it turns out to be very helpful.

Being Disciplined
This one was a little tougher. The Emperor is all about discipline and responsibility. I’m more of a “go with the flow” kind of guy. But I realized that if I really want to make this project happen, I needed to be more disciplined. Setting deadlines, sticking to them, no more random procrastination sessions. I even started setting alarms on my phone to keep me on track. It was rough at first, but now I’m actually making some real progress. I will stick to it!
So, yeah, pulling The Emperor card was a real eye-opener. It wasn’t what I expected, but it was definitely what I needed. It’s like the universe was giving me a gentle, but firm, kick in the pants. And you know what? I think it’s working. I’m feeling more focused, more in control, and actually excited about my project again. Who knew a little piece of cardboard could be so powerful?
I’m still a newbie at this whole tarot thing, but this experience has definitely made me a believer. Maybe there’s something to this ancient wisdom after all. This experience makes me have faith in Tarot. I will keep doing this and see what will happen next.
