Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I keep pulling this one card, the Ten of Swords, but it’s always upside down. Reversed, they call it. And every time, I’m like, “What the heck does this even mean?”
So, I did what any normal person would do – I started digging. Books, websites, you name it. I just wanted to figure out if this reversed Ten of Swords was trying to tell me something important. I mean, it’s all swords and looks pretty ominous, right?
My Little Experiment
First off, I decided I needed to get a handle on the basics. So, I started pulling the card every day, just once, and I’d ask a simple “yes” or “no” question. Like, “Will I have a good day today?” or “Should I eat pizza for dinner?” Dumb stuff, but I figured it was a good place to start.

I made myself a little journal to keep track. Day one, I pulled the reversed Ten of Swords and asked, “Will I get that thing I ordered online today?” The answer, based on what I’d read, seemed like a “maybe leaning towards no.” And guess what? The package didn’t show up.
- Day 1: Question – “Will I get that thing I ordered online today?” Result – No.
- Day 2: Question – “Should I call my friend Sarah today?” Result – Probably not. And I didn’t.
- Day 3: Question – “Is it going to rain later?” Result – Likely no. And it didn’t!
Getting a Bit Deeper
After a few days of this, I felt like I was getting the hang of it. The reversed Ten of Swords, from what I gathered, was often about recovery, regeneration, and that things weren’t as bad as they seemed. It was like the card was saying, “Yeah, things might be tough, but you’re gonna pull through. The worst is over. But now is still not the right time to start something”.
So I started asking slightly more meaningful questions. Like, “Should I start looking for a new job?” (Pulled the card reversed – so, I took it as maybe not the best time). Or, “Will this argument with my partner blow over soon?” (Again, reversed – which I interpreted as a hopeful “yes, but give it time”).
What I’ve Learned So Far
Honestly, this whole thing has been kind of eye-opening. I’m not saying I’m a tarot expert now or anything, but it’s been interesting to see how often the card’s general vibe matched up with what was going on in my life. This reversed Ten of Swords, it’s not as scary as it looks. It’s more like a reminder that even when things seem really bad, there’s always a chance for things to get better.
I’m still doing my daily pulls, still learning. It’s kind of become a fun little ritual. And hey, even if it’s all just a coincidence, it’s making me think a bit more about the choices I make and how I handle things. And that’s pretty cool, right?
I just want to keep track of what I have learned and done so far about the reversed ten of swords. Maybe I can share more in the future!
