Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Tarot cards for a while now, just for fun mostly. But the other day, I did a reading that really got me thinking. It was all about the Eight of Wands, and I wanted to share my little adventure with it.
My Tarot Card Reading Process
I started by shuffling the deck, you know, the usual way. I’m not super strict about it, I just shuffle until it feels right. Then, I laid out the cards in a simple spread. I don’t go for anything too fancy, just a few cards to get a general vibe of what’s going on.
When I saw the Eight of Wands pop up in the “advice” position, I was like, “Alright, what’s this all about?” I mean, I know the basics of the card—fast movement, action, that sort of thing. But I wanted to dig a little deeper, see what it really meant for me.

My Eight of Wands Reflection
- First, I just sat with the card for a bit. I looked at the image, those eight wands flying through the air. It definitely felt like things were moving quickly, maybe even a little out of control.
- Then, I thought about what’s been going on in my life. I’ve been feeling a bit stuck lately, like I’m not making progress on some of my goals. So, the Eight of Wands felt like a message to get moving, to take action.
- I also thought about the “hastiness” aspect of the card. Maybe I need to be careful not to rush into things without thinking them through. It’s a balance, right? Taking action, but also being mindful about it.
Taking Action
After reflecting on the card, I decided to take some small steps towards my goals. I started by making a to-do list, just to get things out of my head and onto paper. I started taking a course I’d been thinking about for ages, something like that. It’s nothing huge, but it felt good to be doing something, to be moving forward. So, this is my Eight of Wands experience. It was a good reminder that sometimes you just need to take action, even if it’s a little scary. But also, to be mindful about how you’re moving forward.
It’s all about finding that balance, I guess. I am not saying that I understand everything, I just sharing how I feel after I got this card. Hope you enjoy my story.
